Ford & Etal Estates extends to approximately 15,000 acres which includes in-hand and let farming, let residential and commercial properties, woodland, tourism, and sporting activities all within spectacular countryside.
Reporting directly to the Joicey family, and trustees, the Estate Director will be influential in driving forward the strategic direction and long-term planning of the Estate. Day to day responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing the Estate’s assets, line management of the Estate team, and being seen as a key representative of the Estate working alongside a committed, community minded family who care passionately about their role as steward and custodians of the beautiful landscape within which the Estate lies.
The successful candidate will be MRICS or CAAV qualified with a proven track record in the management of people and property. He/she will be commercially and financially astute and also motivated by the environmental and social impact of their role. Strong leadership qualities and confidence in conversing with a range of people are important, as well as being organised and business like with good attention to detail.
