Our clients are a network of leading rural businesses with increasing need for talent and demanding recruitment strategies. These include national property consultancies, landowners, rural estates and small independent organisations.
We work with graduates up to partner/director level covering all aspects of services within the rural property sector from land management to buying and selling, farming, woodland and forestry. Specialisms include rural estate management, rural professional consultancy including valuation, landlord and tenant, planning and development, compulsory purchase and compensation, utilities, renewable energy, telecommunications, farm agency, land agency, lettings, agri-business consultancy, agronomy, farm management, forestry and much more.
Helen Astill
Astrec Solutions is owned and run by Helen Astill. After graduating from Aberdeen University with a Batchelor of Land Economy (Hons) 2.1, Helen initially qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with Jones Lang Wootton in Edinburgh before moving to London where she joined Macdonald & Company in its infancy. Helen was instrumental in growing the General Practice division over the next six years, before leaving to concentrate on her family. After a short break and having moved out of London, Helen set up Astrec Solutions. She has since grown her client base and reputation by delivering a first class service. Helen works with a range of businesses in the rural sector such as national property consultancies, individual landowners and smaller independent organisations. Candidates find her approach professional and compassionate.
