An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a key member of the Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Lewes, a lovely market town situated within the South Downs National Park with good access to London. The office is a lead provider of rural services to an excellent range of innovative and dynamic private and institutional clients throughout Sussex.
The team undertake a good balance of estate management and rural professional work, and the successful candidate will take a take a principal role for a selection of key estate management clients as well as providing professional advice such as valuation for secured lending and expert witness purposes, estate and farming business reviews, diversification projects and promotion of strategic land.
With a clear agenda for growth the team are looking to recruit a candidate with the following attributes:
- A competent and experienced MRICS qualified rural surveyor with approximately 2-4 years pqe, and a track record of rural estate management, up to Associate Director level.
- Confident and able to report directly to the client, gaining trust, building good relationships, and generating new opportunities.
- Self-motivated and resourceful with ability to communicate clearly and provide leadership to junior members of the team.
- Able to deliver work across a range of projects.
