A new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Rural Surveyor to assist Strutt & Parker’s successful Land Management and Consultancy team based in Morpeth. The team provide rural services to an excellent range of private and corporate clients, and have a fantastic reputation, throughout the north east of England.
The role will be wide ranging and focus on assisting with the provision of rural professional consultancy advice to clients including:
- Valuation of rural property for a variety of purposes
- Landlord and tenant advice to a range of clients
- Compulsory purchase and compensation negotiations
- BPS and Countryside Stewardship applications
- Providing management advice to clients on traditional rural estates with diverse portfolios of agricultural, commercial and let residential property
The successful candidate could be working towards their APC with some rural experience, or a recently qualified (MRICS) rural surveyor; confident, self-motivated, and resourceful. You will have the chance to take responsibility for client work from an early stage, with the support of senior team members.
