A career progressing opportunity for an ambitious Rural Surveyor to join Strutt & Parker’s thriving Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Inverness/North Scotland.

Acting as assistant asset manager for a significant estate management client, responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day management of the assets as well as progressing strategic objectives, with a particular emphasis on natural capital and rural diversification, with the support of senior colleagues.

The successful candidate is likely to have the following attributes:

  • MRICS – preferably Rural pathway, newly qualified up to 2 years PQE. Candidates working towards their APC qualification will also be considered.
  • CAAV/SAAVA membership/qualification an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing residential, agricultural, and commercial tenancies.
  • An interest and understanding of the environment and its natural capital.
  • A team player, confident, self-motivated, and resourceful with a diligent approach.
  • Able to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks and work independently with minimum supervision when required.
