Carter Jonas Yorkshire Rural is a thriving team who currently manage a selection of privately owned Estates from both their Harrogate and York offices.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estate Manager/Assistant Agent with a modern, innovative, and professional approach to join the team and work principally on a magnificent 6000 acre, privately owned, diverse Estate in North Yorkshire.
Reporting directly to the Estate owner, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the property portfolio, with the support of a Carter Jonas Partner, which includes residential, commercial, and agricultural, hydro and solar installations, and a principal house and gardens open to the public. There will also be the opportunity to assist with the management of several other traditional, privately owned rural Estates in North Yorkshire.
Candidate attributes:
- A competent MRICS qualified rural surveyor who understands the demands of rural Estates and has the confidence to work independently with minimum supervision; we will consider a range of experience, from recently qualified to someone at a more senior level.
- Someone who enjoys modern management and progressing new ideas and revenue opportunities.
- An interest and understanding of the management of the environment and its natural capital.
- A team player, energetic, friendly with excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Commercially aware, financially astute.
