As a leading firm of rural property specialists BCM operate throughout southern England advising on all areas of rural property consultancy, planning and development, sales, purchases and lettings. A diverse opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Rural Surveyor to join their innovative team to help service a well-established client base on the Isle of Wight and some clients managed from their Winchester office.
Responsibilities will be wide ranging and include all areas of rural property consultancy, including estate management, landlord and tenant matters, valuation, AMC agency, tax planning and estate reviews, planning and development, and farm sales. There will also be an opportunity to develop specialist areas of expertise such as natural capital/biodiversity offsetting for clients across the wider firm.
This position offers an interesting variety of work, autonomy, and responsibility for a client base from the start. The successful candidate is likely to be:
- A competent qualified (MRICS) rural surveyor; we will consider a few years post qualification or more senior level candidates seeking the prospect of partnership.
- Experience in the rural sector, valuation an advantage; other backgrounds such as planning and development will also be considered.
- Confident, sociable, motivated, ambitious, and commercially focussed, and able to build relationships with clients.
